Here's
How To Get Started Now...
In
order to become an affiliate, you need your own unique ClickBank
affiliate name, called a ClickBank Nickname. When
you put this name into a link, and when buyers click on it, you
are given the correct commission by ClickBank.
Already
Got Your ClickBank
Nickname?
If you already have your affiliate ClickBank Nickname, replace
"CLICKBANK_NAME" with your
affiliate name in this following link:
Copy
and paste your link into these areas:
-
in your signature
- on forums
- on websites
- in emails
- in articles
- and anywhere else where you can spread it around!
3
Simple Steps To Getting Your ClickBank
Nickname
If
you don't have a ClickBank Name, here's how you get one FREE
in an easy ONE minute:
Sign
up to ClickBank here and choose your Nickname (one
word, lowercase). I recommend you make up an easily-remembered
name, and keep it as short as possible.
Then
turn
your ClickBank nickname into an URL by clicking here so
you can use it in links and websites.
When
you get to the ClickBank website, enter your nickname, and click
"Create"

Your
URL with your encrypted ClickBank Nickname will look like this:
http://82f0biih24oprbc5lbwfoojg34.hop.clickbank.net/
You
can use this string of letters and numbers. It offers good protection
against anyone trying to steal your commission, but it is far
too complicated to remember, and too long to use.
So...
TinyURL
Solves The Problem!
You
can shorten the long URL and make it easier to remember by using
the free software shortcut: Tiny
URL.
Go to the TinyUrl.com website
here
Copy
and paste in your long ClickBank URL.
Then
make up a short descriptive name for the TinyURL Custom alias
name. We've chosen "dietguy"
for this example:

When you press the "Make Tiny URL!" button, you'll
get this:

You're
Finished!
You can now use http://tinyurl.com/dietguy
(with your own username of course) as your protected ClickBank
nickname URL...
-
in your signature
- on forums
- on websites
- in emails
- in articles
- and anywhere else where you can spread it around!
|
Test
Your ClickBank Nickname
You
can check that your ClickBank TinyURL is set up correctly
by following these steps:
- Enter
your ClickBank Nickname or TinyURL into
a new browser window, and hit ""Enter".
- Click
on one of the ClickBank order buttons.
- Scroll
right to the bottom of the ClickBank payment
window which appears. You should see your account nickname
listed as the affiliate. For example: [affiliate
= dietguy].
This
test proves that your ClickBank link is set up correctly.
It also means that your account will be credited with
any commissions earned from paying customers as a direct
result of your referral.

An
effective way to start a blog is to write down your experience
from Day One as you use the Banned Food Diet. After
seven days and writing an entry each day, you can give a summary
of the results.
NOTE:
It's essential that you don't
give out your Meal Plan details. These are confidential
and part of the Banned Food Diet only, not for public distribution.
Emphasize
the success you're having by using real-life situations... like:
-
your experience with your first weigh-in
- how you felt during the day
- positive
comments.
You
can also do a comparison site by listing differences between the
Banned Food Diet and a number of other similar products.
These
are effective because they eliminate any personal slant that could
be seen as misleading. This in turn creates trust and builds
authority. The buyer with the finger on the order button is
likely to have a greater interest in the product when it is set
out in a fact-like manner.
I
have a basic comparison chart at my main site here, about a quarter
the way down the page: Silver
Lotto System.

You
can see how even a simple chart like this makes life much easier
for buyers.
Once
you've started building a chart like this one, you can expand
it by adding more comparisons:
-
Overview
- Pricing differences
-
Set-up: simple or complex
- Set-up time
-
Successes
- Ongoing costs
- Product delivery times
When
you have listed your own comparisons you can add your own testimonials
and some mild sales talk elsewhere on the site without upsetting
the reader's confidence.
Don't
make the comparison site too time-consuming though. As an affiliate
you want your prospects to click through your affiliate link to
the order form, and the quicker they do this the better.
Try
and compare between only two products so there's less to distract
the potential buyer.
Comparison
sites work best when they make complex issues simple for the
reader. Here's another of my comparison sites which does this.
Even
though I call it a review site, it's a good comparison site example
because it immediately tripled sales when I launched it:
Powerball Systems.
Add
any of these following standard size banners to your webpages.
You can also use them in banner networks, or on other websites
as paid ads.
If
you have HTML knowledge, you can copy a banner by right clicking
it and using "save as..." to save it to your
computer. Then link it to the Banned Food Diet website with your
affiliate name by using the code underneath each banner.
Or
you can simply copy the code in the box below the banner. When
you place the code on your own website or in another website,
the banner with your affiliate ClickBank name will be inserted
automatically.
Important:
Before you copy the code, make sure that you have inserted your
own ClickBank name in place of "CLICKBANK_NAME".

Here's
a quick way to get started with a blog:
1.
Buy the Banned Food Diet.
This is important so you can sell it more effectively. You can't
teach someone to drive if you can't drive yourself. Same with
selling anything.
2.
Study my website: http://www.bannedfooddiet.com.
Note how I present it with an emphasis on the dangers of most
other weight-loss products. (Some are crazy, some will kill you!
I personally know of someone who did the bread diet... she was
put into hospital for a week to recover).
3.
Start a free blog with Google's Blogger: www.blogger.com.
4.
Go to Ezine Articles at http://ezinearticles.com
and search for articles that mirror the concept of my website.
You'll be mainly looking for articles that talk about the dangers
of fast weightloss. Place those articles on your blog, together
with your ClickBank affiliate link.
5.
Use Google AdWords at www.AdWords.Google.com
to promote your blog.
One
of the most effective ways to attract readers and buyers is through
powerful articles. Want to earn thousands of dollars in affiliate
commissions? It's entirely possible.
That's
because the most successful affiliates on the net - those powerful
resellers who bring in hundreds of thousands of dollars each year
- have realized that many articles are the basis of their success
plan.
But
the best part is that you don't have to create an article - one
of them is written here for you! Copy it and send it out to as
many places you can. Several places are listed below.
1.
Copy the article after adding your ClickBank Nickname in the
link. For best results, change the wording a little - especially
the first and last paragraphs.
2.
Then submit the rewritten completed article to the article
directories listed here. Be sure to read the Terms Of Service
or Editorial Guidelines of each directory to ensure you stay within
their rules:
ArticleAlley.com
Amazines.com
ArticlesBase.com
Articlecity.com
Articleclick.com
Articlecube.com
Articledashboard.com
ArticlesFactory.com
GoArticles.com
IdeaMarketers.com
SearchWarp.com
Selfgrowth.com
3.
One way to speed up submission is to use an automated article
submission service. Three popular ones are:
submityourarticle.com
articlepostrobot.com
distributeyourarticles.com
4.
Promote! You cannot be too cautious here. The best way to
increase sales is to get more people to read this article.
Send it out to as many places you can.
Articles
stay around forever. Each time you place this article somewhere,
you are building an ever-larger group of readers and buyers:
- on forums
- on websites
- in emails
- in articles
- and anywhere else where you can spread it around!
